Description

I wanted to have a good look at the bow shock wave of Kip Thorne and Steven Hawking's favourite black hole Cynus X-1.  The wave is powered from a set of jets from the black hole's accretion disk.

Excues the slight overcooking of the image but it seems to start to suggest some 3 dimensional structure in the shockwave....

Will investigate that with a bigger scope........
